This rehabilitation center and wildlife sanctuary is now well known to Quebecers thanks to the program A zoo like no other. A visit to the heart of nature offers the chance to admire Canadian wildlife and learn more about multiple species. Their conservation program also makes it possible to observe several exotic species in danger of extinction. Fun for the whole family guaranteed! Installation at your hotel in Saint-Georges.
D2 | Notre-Dame-des-Pins
Meet today at the Baillargeon Miniature Village, with more than 200 rooms including 75 houses and buildings reproducing real constructions in Beauce and elsewhere. The site is set in a natural setting where small streets lead you among the works of Mr. Ernest Baillargeon. Recycling is a priority for this artist artist. An indoor exhibition is also to be visited including a reproduction of part of the founder’s workshop with its original tools.
J3 | Saint-George – Return
Before leaving, why not take a trip to Parc des Sept-Chutes, one of the most beautiful urban parks in Chaudière-Appalaches with its gigantic trees and landscaping. The Parc des Sept-Chutes offers the ultimate rendezvous with nature: an 80-hectare managed urban forest, a network of multifunctional trails extending over 8 kilometers, including the Sentier des Gorges de la rivière Pozer with its belvederes and sites of exceptional observation. The Alliance Footbridge, which overlooks the seventh fall, hangs over 25 meters high and offers a breathtaking view of the Pozer River and two-hundred-year-old pine trees.
