D1 | Arrival at Isle-aux-Coudres (2 nights)

Arrival in Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive to take the ferry to Isle-aux-Coudres. Discover the exceptional site of Moulins de l’Isle-aux-Coudres – Économusée de la meunerie, bringing together a flour mill and a windmill. Through its permanent exhibitions, you will learn more about the history of the uses and customs of the Isle through the works of popular art of the artist Alfred Desgagnés as well as the well-known filmmaker Pierre Perrault. The miller’s house, transformed into an interpretation center, will tell you about the history of the Isle’s mills and will show you the flour-making techniques.

D2 | Isle-aux-Coudres

Take advantage of the day to explore the Island by bike! Travel the 20 km of cycle lane and explore the Island at your own pace, stopping at the many souvenir shops, galleries and agrotourism businesses on your way. Stop at the Cidrerie et Vergers Pedneault or the L’Isle fumée smokehouse to discover good local products. Take part in a treasure hunt on the Isle to discover its heritage and have a chance to win great prizes!

D3 | Isle-aux-Coudres – Baie-Saint-Paul – Return

On the way back, why not spend some time in Baie-Saint-Paul, called “artists’ paradise”, to discover its boutiques, cafes, galleries and many tourist attractions? You will stop at Omerto to taste the world’s first tomato wine! Discover the Domaine de la Vallée du Bras and its facilities and learn the complete and unique process of tomato winemaking. Of course, you will have the chance to taste some Omerto products!
