D1 | Arrival in Saint-François-de-Île-d´Orléans – Saint-Laurent-de-Île-d´Orléans (2 nights)
Arrive on the Île d´Orléans for a stay full of nature and flavors! Start your stay with a visit to the thematic gardens of the Seigneurie de l’Île d´Orléans. La Seigneurie de l’Île d´Orléans is a farm made up of multiple thematic gardens spread over nearly 10 hectares bordering the waterway of the St. Lawrence River. You will discover 5 thematic gardens: the 5 senses garden, the fruit garden, the shade garden, the Amerindian garden and the Japanese garden. In July, you can admire the magnificent lavender grove, fitted out according to the colors of Provence: mauve, yellow and green. For your accommodation, we offer the Motel Île d’Orléans with a view of the river from every room.
D2 | Île d’Orléans
Today, explore the island by bike! Île d’Orléans is a cyclist’s paradise. Collect your bike directly from the Motel Île d´Orléans website and explore the island freely. The bikes are very light and easy to ride; their semi-wide tires provide stability while driving. You will also get a personalized map with a suggested route to follow before setting off on the road. Taste wine and berries on the farm, tour the chocolate factory, and stop at vintage boutiques. Have fun being active! Throughout your journey, admire the peaceful landscape and the view of the St. Lawrence River. You can take as many beautiful photos as you want! With your bike rental, a cider tasting at the Domaine Steinbach cider house is included.
D3 | Saint-Laurent-de-Île-d´Orléans – Back
For your last day on the island, you will discover L’Espace Félix-Leclerc, a venue and interpretation center dedicated to showing the work and memory of Félix Leclerc as well as a showcase for temporary exhibitions. If your heart tells you, make a stop at the gourmet boutique Cassis Mona & filles, which also includes a vineyard, a restaurant, a creamery and a liquorice economuseum, where you will learn more about the know-how and the blackcurrant , in addition to doing a full tasting of their wines and spirits.
